The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Deputy Director Training Delivery within the AMTC.
The role is key to the successful delivery of apprenticeship and commercial training at both the AMTC and OAS training centres. The successful candidate will lead the current delivery of the AMTC`s offering and grow it into a national programme to include STEM engagement, apprenticeships, degree programmes in collaboration with the HE sector, commercial short courses and early stage framework design, levy fundable training solutions and national growth.

The Deputy Director Training Delivery will develop the strategy to enable the continued growth of AMTC on a National level
The role encompasses:
Strategic development and foresight for the whole delivery function Apprentice and commercial across all sites Leadership and Management of the Apprenticeship and Commercial Training teams Responsibility for the quality process development (SFA, Awarding Bodies, Ofsted, Internal and External process and audit) including the safeguarding and safe management of learners Have full responsibility of the safety of learners and trainers Budget responsibility for ESFA and commercial income and all quality audits Overall responsibility of any Ofsted / ESFA audits Relationship management of HE partners and related STEM activities Developing and growing strategic partnerships to enhance the training function in addition to best practice delivery
The successful candidate for the Deputy Director Training Delivery role will possess the following attributes:
Extensive and proven leadership skills Significant experience in leading an Education and Training business preferably at director level, with experience in setting up, development and growth of training programmes / delivery Preferably an engineer and/or with significant engineering qualification / educational knowledge Operated within the Higher Education sector Ofsted has led a successful inspection Systems detailed knowledge and understanding of the current funding rules and guidance. Self starter, able to work on own initiative with the determination to succeed and passion about the subject area Able to travel throughout the UK, occasionally overseas if required and possessing a Driving licence.
