A leading UK Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre are looking for a Process Specialist Manufacturing Operations with experience in running and monitoring manufacturing processes in high volume scenarios to operate and respond to breakdowns as part of a Manufacturing Operations team.
Salary: c £ 38,000 p.a. + up to 16% Pension + 25 days holiday.
The Process Specialist Manufacturing Operations will:
Operate and be the first to respond to breakdowns as part of a team. Ensure all equipment is set up, adjusted and in constant readiness for production. Fault finding and diagnosing of issues across a variety of control systems. Lead and support problem solving, continuous improvement and planned maintenance to production equipment. Undertake online and offline product validation testing. Some overseas travel may be required to support FAT and commissioning activities. Interface to Engineering/Product Development for future projects/campaigns with a strong relationship to the Quality Engineers/Dept
The Process Specialist Manufacturing Operations will have:
ONC / HNC / HND level qualification having served an apprenticeship in Engineering. Experience in running and monitoring manufacturing processes in high volume scenarios. Maintenance of quality policies and procedures in the process areas, e.g. Control Plans, SOP`s, WI`s, with experience of PFMEA`s. Experience in Process Audit preparation and conformity/compliance, e.g., ISO 9001, IATF16949. Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and change control process is ideal. Ability to demonstrate experience in containment of Non-Conforming Material, supplier, and customer related issues.
